Who is Mili, the young woman who covered the city with posters to get Adrián Suar's attention
Their original street campaign, which went viral on social media, reached television and managed to move the renowned producer
In times when visibility is everything, Milagros Rodríguez—better known as Mili—found a creative and impactful way to make one of her greatest wishes come true: working with Adrián Suar. The young actress, trained in classical theater and part of a Buenos Aires-based company, decided to paper the streets with a message as clear as it was forceful: "Suar, I want to work with you."
Far from limiting herself to the physical environment, Mili took her initiative to social media. On her TikTok account, she documented every step of the process, from making the posters to placing them in different strategic points around the city. The campaign quickly caught users' attention and caused a wave of support that ended up making her story go viral.

Her proposal was so effective that it reached Mujeres Argentinas, the eltrece program, where the young woman explained that she is neither inexperienced nor a beginner, but has spent years training in the performing arts. Her appearance on the show had an immediate effect: Adrián Suar contacted the program live and, moved by the actress's attitude, promised her an opportunity.
"The path of actors is full of doors that you have to knock on. Sometimes they don't open, but there's always someone who gives you a chance," said the producer and founder of Polka, highlighting the courage and originality of the initiative. "You did something so unique, so wonderful, that I've already asked one of my producers to keep you in mind for an upcoming casting," he added.
Suar also recalled other similar gestures that marked his career, such as a young man who put up a sign on Avenida Lugones or someone who chained himself to the producer's door. "This is a profession of attempts, failures, and a lot of perseverance. But you always have to keep searching," he reflected in a direct message to the young woman and the entire artistic community.
Meanwhile, after years of not making investments in Argentine television, the businessman would be willing to open up the game again despite the large number of criticisms from Kirchnerist actresses' groups.
