Without participation in Suzuka, Franco Colapinto practiced in Monza.

Alpine remains the only team that hasn't yet scored points in the Constructors' Championship. Just like in the Australian and Chinese Grands Prix, neither Pierre Gasly nor Jack Doohan managed to finish in the point-scoring positions during the race in Japan, held at the Suzuka circuit. The French driver finished 13th, while the Australian crossed the line in 15th place.

In that context, Franco Colapinto took advantage of Sunday to get back into a single-seater of the French team. He did so at the Monza track in Italy, participating in the TPC (Test Previous Car) tests, which are trials with cars from at least two seasons ago, aimed at reserve drivers, something planned within the program of the 21-year-old Argentine driver.

The presence of the Pilar native in Italian lands quickly went viral on social media, as several fans shared photos and a video of him touring different areas of the circuit. It is worth noting that another of Alpine's reserve drivers, Estonian Paul Aron, was the one who drove on Saturday during the practice sessions on the same track. Besides the French team, the Williams team was also present, Colapinto's former team, which conducted its own tests with two drivers from its young talent program.

The next stop will be the Bahrain Grand Prix, where Franco won't be present with the team. His next appearance is scheduled for Saudi Arabia and, according to the official page of the Argentine driver, a week later he will be back in the pits during the Miami Grand Prix.
