Xbox Game Pass: the 9 games coming in the second half of August

Xbox Game Pass confirmed the games of the second wave for August 2026, with nine additions and three Day One releases. The main release will be Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, arriving on August 27.

The second wave also includes titles like Vapor World: Over the Mind, Blood Dungeon, and Young Suns. Additionally, five games will leave the catalog on August 31, including The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt- Remastered Edition.

What games are coming to Xbox Game Pass in Wave 2 of August

According to Xbox Wire, the new wave of Xbox Game Pass adds nine titles between August 19 and September 1. Three of them will be available from the first day of release.

Vapor World: Over the Mind (Game Preview): arrives on August 19 on Cloud, console, and PC. Available in Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass as Day One.
BlazBlue Entropy Effect X: arrives on August 19 on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Joins Game Pass Premium and will also be available in Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
Relooted: arrives on August 19 on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Added to Game Pass Premium, as well as Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

Among the new games in Xbox Game Pass, one of the main highlights is Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy. The title serves as a prequel to the saga and follows Sophia's journey to the Minotaur Island.

The game will be available on August 27 on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Handheld, and PC. Its arrival will be Day One for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
