Daniel Noboa strengthens the governorships with 53 appointments in 15 months
Guayas, Manabí, El Oro, Los Ríos, and Cotopaxi have received renewed leadership under the management of the head of state
President Daniel Noboa has implemented a policy of strategic adjustments in the country's governorships. In 15 months, he has made 53 appointments, ensuring that each province has leadership that responds to its specific needs.
The provinces of Guayas, Manabí, El Oro, Los Ríos, and Cotopaxi have experienced the most changes. These regions, which concentrate a significant part of economic activity and security challenges, have required constant adjustments to ensure an efficient administration.
The rotation of governors has replied to various factors, from security strategies to political considerations. In the case of Los Ríos, for example, three of the four appointed governors have been part of the law enforcement forces, reflecting the emphasis on fighting crime.

Meanwhile, in Guayas and Manabí, the administration has shifted from leaders with security experience to figures with a background in social policies. This transition shows the Executive's intention to diversify its approach to address provincial issues with comprehensive solutions.
Noboa's Government has demonstrated that changes in governorships are not improvised but part of an evolving strategy. For example, the reconfiguration of leadership in several provinces has been aligned with the pursuit of stability in key sectors such as security, economic development, and governance.
Additionally, some former governors have joined the ranks of Acción Democrática Nacional (ADN), reinforcing the idea that Noboa is consolidating a trusted team in various areas. This approach allows officials to continue contributing to the country from different fronts.

Despite the challenges in appointing authorities, President Daniel Noboa has maintained the commitment to ensure effective and adaptable leadership in each province.
With a constantly evolving team, his administration seeks to consolidate a more dynamic management aligned with the needs of Ecuadorians.
The flexibility in appointing governors has allowed for a quick and efficient response to the country's demands. In this context, the Government's adaptability becomes a key factor for stability and development in Ecuador.
