The President of the United States, Donald Trump, issued a severe warning against Iran this Friday after banners displaying the phrase ''We Will Kill Trump'' were shown during the funeral of the deceased Iranian supreme terrorist leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The president assured that any attempt to assassinate the U.S. president would provoke a large-scale military response from Washington.

The statement was published on the social network Truth Social just hours after reports emerged indicating that Israel had warned the U.S. government about a possible assassination plan attributed to sectors linked to the Iranian regime. Although U.S. authorities have not publicly confirmed these reports, Trump used the episode to send a direct message to Tehran.

''1,000 missiles are loaded and aimed at the Islamic Republic of Iran, and thousands more will follow immediately if the Iranian government acts according to its threat, made in many corners of the world, to assassinate or attempt to assassinate the sitting president of the United States of America, in this case, me!'', the president wrote.

Trump added that orders for a potential response have already been given and that the U.S. Armed Forces are prepared to carry out a large-scale operation if any attack against him is carried out.

''The orders have already been given, and the United States Army is ready, willing, and able, for a period of one year, subject to extension, to decimate and completely destroy all areas of Iran'', the president stated in his post.

The threats displayed during Khamenei's funeral ceremonies occurred amid a climate of strong tension between Washington and Tehran. The bilateral relationship continues to be marked by disputes over the Iranian nuclear program, the activities of Iran-backed groups in the Middle East, and repeated exchanges of warnings between both governments.

The bluntness of the presidential message reflects the deterrence strategy that Donald Trump has maintained towards Iran during his administration. The president has repeatedly defended the need to respond forcefully to any action that poses a risk to U.S. national security or to its key allies in the region.

The post was also interpreted as a signal directed at both the Iranian leadership and other actors in the Middle East, making it clear that any aggression against the President of the United States would have immediate and far-reaching military consequences.

So far, the Iranian regime has not issued an official response to Donald Trump's statements or to the warnings disseminated by the White House. However, the exchange of threats once again highlights the delicate situation between the two countries, whose rivalry has intensified in recent years due to regional conflicts, economic sanctions, and indirect confrontations.

As tensions continue, Washington keeps its forces deployed in the Middle East on alert and continues to closely coordinate with Israel in monitoring potential threats from Iran. Trump's statements demonstrate that the U.S. administration maintains a stance of maximum firmness against the Iranian regime and considers any threat against the president as a red line that would provoke an immediate and forceful response.
