The first data of Election Day coming from the state of Florida seems to show a Republican Party performance exceeding what the media and major pollsters had predicted.
According to data analyst Jennica Pounds, known as “DataRepublican” on social media platform X, the figures coming from the southern state in the early morning hours were "absolutely outrageous" in favor of the Republicans. "These are margins of a presidential election in a midterm, and any Democratic advantage continues to shrink with each update," she emphasized.
"If this applies to all states, we could very well see a last-minute turnaround; the next test will be Nevada", Pounds added, whose map on her website shows that President Donald Trump's party has an advantage in both early in-person voting and on Election Day voting, with Democrats only winning the mail-in vote.
But while the left opposition has a mail-in vote advantage of 158,030 votes, this figure is below the 204,521 additional mail-in ballots that Democrats recorded in the 2024 presidential contest.
