A report claims that Trump is preparing new military attacks against Iran for this weekend.

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, is preparing to launch a new round of military attacks against Iran, according to a report by CBS News this Friday night.

Early on Friday, Trump surprised everyone by announcing that he would not attend his son Don Jr.'s wedding this weekend because he had to remain in Washington DC "during this very pivotal time." Additionally, the president had planned to spend Memorial Day weekend at his golf course in New Jersey, but will now spend it at the White House.

"Although I was very much looking forward to being with my son, Don Jr., and the newest member of the Trump family, his future wife, Bettina, the circumstances related to the Government and my love for the United States of America do not allow me to do so," Trump stated. "I feel it is important for me to remain in Washington, D.C., at the White House, during this very important time. Congratulations to Don and Bettina!" added the Republican mogul.

An attack is anticipated in the coming hours

Although sources consulted by the aforementioned media claim that Trump has not made a final decision regarding the attacks, some members of the military and the U.S. intelligence community are canceling their plans for Memorial Day weekend in anticipation of possible attacks.

Today, Secretary of State Marco Rubio noted that a "slight progress" had been made in peace talks with Iran, but stated that the "toll system" in the Strait of Hormuz that the Islamic regime intends to implement is unacceptable and intolerable for Washington.
