Multiple polls published in recent weeks highlight that the MAGA movement is united behind the president with regard to the war in Iran.
Almost three weeks after the launch of the US-Israeli military operation against the Iranian regime, polls consistently show almost unanimous support for President Donald Trump's decision within the Republican and Trumpist base.
The survey, conducted by the firm Rasmussen Reports, found that 61% of likely voters believe that the military operation against Iran has been successful so far, including 35% who describe it as “very successful”. The survey also highlights the high level of public attention to the conflict: 81% of voters say they have followed the events closely, including 49% who say they have followed them “very closely
”.
In this vein, 81% of Republicans believe that the operation has been successful, as do 56% of independent voters and 45% of Democrats. And among those who supported Trump in the 2024 elections, 83% say that the operation has been successful, compared to 40% of those who backed the then Democratic Vice President
Kamala Harris. Trump and his cabinet at the launch of Operation “Epic Fury”
Even CNN admits popular support for Trump's decision
Another survey, this time conducted by The Economist/YouGov, says that 87% of the Trump base approves Trump's administration with respect to Iran, while other polls place that support at levels ofup to 91% between voters aligned with the MAGA movement. The consulting firm McLaughlin & Associates revealed last week that 51% of voters approved of the US offensive to eliminate the
Iranian nuclear program.
Asked whether U.S. military action against Iran and the leadership of the Iranian regime was necessary and justified to protect American lives today and in the future, 57 percent of the voters agreed, while 33 percent disagreed. It should be noted that, among the independent, 46% thought that such an offensive was necessary, compared to 40% who rejected it.
Even CNN, famous for its Democratic activism, in a segment starring electoral analyst Harry Enten, noted that multiple polls show overwhelming support within the Trump base for the presidential decision. “Nearly nine out of ten, 89 percent, approve of U.S. military action in Iran. That's the MAGA base of the Republican Party,” Enten said. “This is hugely popular among the Republican base,” he added.
In recent days, the Democratic media have struggled to portray Operation “Epic Fury” as divisive for the Trump base, but this characterization has been constantly refuted by polls that have appeared in recent days, which show overwhelming support among Republicans and a majority of likely voters, among others.
