The president reported that the U.S. Navy cleared the Strait of Hormuz of Iranian explosives and that it will not allow commercial navigation to be interrupted again
The president Donald Trump announced on Tuesday morning that the United States Navy has completed the demining process in the Strait of Hormuz and will not allow hostile actors to place them again.
During the ongoing conflict, the terrorist Islamic regime placed explosive mines in the waterway and has worked to block maritime traffic in the region. In response, the Trump administration imposed a naval blockade on Tehran and established an alternative route near the coasts of Oman for ships to transit free from Iranian threats with escort from the U.S. military.
"I have just been informed by the United States Navy that all mines have been removed and/or detonated within the international waters of the Strait of Hormuz", the president posted on Truth Social. "Iran has been notified that any ship or vessel that places new mines will be destroyed immediately and systematically", he added.
The United States controls the Strait of Hormuz and is clearing it of Iranian mines.
"Through the Space Force, we are monitoring every square inch of the Strait, just as we do with Pickaxe Mountain and the other three already destroyed nuclear sites. There is a zero-tolerance policy for the placement of mines in full force and effect", the head of state concluded.
The war began in late February with joint attacks between the United States and Israel against Iran that killed Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. In June, the parties agreed to a ceasefire, but repeated violations of this pact by the Tehran regime led to the resumption of gunfire exchanges and hostilities.
