The Government of Donald Trump is advancing with a tightening of its immigration policy, with a significant increase in daily deportations.
This was confirmed by the Secretary of Homeland Security, Markwayne Mullin, who stated that current figures far exceed recent records and are expanding.
During a press conference in New York, the official detailed that the average number of expulsions already exceeds 3,200 individuals per day, a trend that, he indicated, has been maintained for several weeks and continues to rise.

In this context, he emphasized that the central objective of these actions is to reinforce the enforcement of the law throughout the United States.
“We are deporting an average of more than 3,000 individuals; in fact, the average has been, for several weeks, over 3,200 individuals a day. We are intensifying every day because we are trying to restore law and order, regardless of whether you live in a red state or a blue state,” Mullin stated.
The increase in the figures is not isolated but responds to a broader policy driven by the administration of President Donald Trump, which is already considering deepening immigration control operations across the country. The strategy aims to consolidate a more rigorous framework in terms of combating illegal immigration.

In this context, Mullin also emphasized the profile of the deported individuals, highlighting that a large proportion face legal issues.
“70% of those individuals have pending criminal charges or have already been accused of a felony. They should not be in our country,” the official asserted.
According to Mullin, the actions do not distinguish between jurisdictions and are implemented uniformly across the country. The reference to “red states” and “blue states” aims to underscore that the policy is executed without considering local political differences, reinforcing its national character.
In this way, the Trump administration seeks to promote a stricter security policy, with a strong emphasis on deportations as the main tool to combat irregular immigration and reinforce law enforcement.
