The weekend trip of President Donald Trump at Camp David was interrupted on Saturday night and the president returned urgently to the White House; simultaneously, the U.S. State Department issued a security alert for the entire Middle East and warned American citizens to "exercise caution and be aware of possible flight cancellations, airspace closures, and flight disruptions."
Tensions escalated in the region on Saturday when the Houthis, a terrorist organization backed and funded by the Islamic regime of Iran, carried out a ballistic missile and drone attack against Riyadh, the capital and most populous city of Saudi Arabia, one of Washington's main allies in the Arab world.
