Israel attacked Hezbollah training centers in southern Lebanon

The bombings focused on camps in the Beqaa region

The Israeli Air Force (IAF) carried out a large-scale air offensive against positions of Hezbollah's Radwan unit in the Beqaa region, southern Lebanon.

The bombings focused on camps used by the terrorists to train and prepare for future infiltrations into Israeli territory. They also targeted weapons depots.

In these facilities, operatives of the Lebanese group conducted shooting drills and training with various weapons. This constitutes a direct violation of the ceasefire agreements signed with Lebanon in November 2024.

The Radwan unit, an elite force backed by Iran, has the strategic objective of invading northern Israel, capturing border areas, and kidnapping civilians or soldiers as part of the plan called "Conquer the Galilee."

The IDF considers this infrastructure a latent threat to the State of Israel and described the operation as a preventive action to neutralize that capability before it materializes.

"The Israel Defense Forces will continue to act forcefully to eliminate any threat against the State of Israel and prevent Hezbollah's rehabilitation," said the military spokesperson. Defense Minister Israel Katz reinforced this message, warning that "every terrorist will be reached, and every threat will be neutralized."

This operation is part of a broad offensive that the IDF has carried out in recent days against enemy targets in different locations.

Despite the ceasefire agreement, Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem recently declared that the terrorist group "is rebuilding and is ready" to confront Israel again.
