The Israeli army is preparing a new attack and has asked the population to move toward the south of the Strip
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued an evacuation warning on Friday directed at Palestinian residents of a central area in Gaza City, in preparation for an offensive against targets belonging to Hamas.
"Given the use of civilian areas by the terrorist organization Hamas for terrorist activities, the IDF will strike the area with great intensity. For your safety, evacuate immediately," stated the military spokesperson in Arabic, Colonel Avichay Adraee, through a message published on the social network X.
Israeli authorities urged Palestinian civilians to move toward the south of the Strip and to "avoid returning to dangerous areas."
This is another of the many procedures implemented by Israeli security forces to minimize civilian casualties.
