They used money from the Bienestar pensions and drug trafficking to finance Morena's campaigns.
The video confession by the Morena member Jocelyn Hernández was corroborated by Anabel Hernández using her Facebook
In recent years, Mexico has been the scene of multiple allegations pointing to collusion between the Morena party and criminal organizations.
Recent reports suggest that funds allocated to social programs were illicitly diverted to finance Morena's electoral campaigns.
It is alleged that the party received direct financial support from the Sinaloa Cartel, raising serious questions about the integrity of the electoral process and governmental transparency.

Morena established agreements with the cartels for the 2021 elections
Journalist Anabel Hernández has documented how Morena figures established agreements with members of the Sinaloa Cartel during the 2021 elections.
According to her research, there were political meetings with Iván Archivaldo Guzmán, alias "El Chapito" and relatives of "Chapo" Guzmán. These meetings were essential to securing organized crime's support for Rubén Rocha Moya's candidacy, current governor of Sinaloa.

These meetings, apparently, included everything from campaign promotion through narcocorridos to the coordination of intimidation acts against opposing candidates.
Additionally, it has been reported that "Chapito" himself organized performances by grupero artists to publicly support Rocha Moya.
The confession of Morena member Jocelyn Hernández.
To achieve these investigations, the confession of Jocelyn Hernández Jimenez, Morena's coordinator in the Sinaloa region was necessary. Jocelyn was recorded without her consent in a restaurant where she confirmed the suspicions.
Jocelyn stated that suitcases full of cash sent by someone named Isidro, referring to 'El Chapo Isidro' wanted by the FBI, arrived at the office. Additionally, there were operations that took place in complete secrecy.

'They told us that wasn't our business, that we shouldn't ask about it because it came from very high up'
Subsequently, the Morena member came out to deny her words, claiming that the video in question was 'misinterpreted and taken out of context'. However, Anabel Hernándezcorroborated thanks to photos on the Morena member's Facebook, the dates and places Jocelyn confessed.
These are actions that break laws
Testimonies indicate that these actions were orchestrated to ensure Morena's electoral victory in Sinaloa, using illegal resources and tactics that compromise the legitimacy of the democratic process.
The seriousness of these accusations highlights the need for a thorough investigation by the competent authorities.

The alleged use of public funds for electoral purposes and the alleged collaboration with criminal organizations undermine the rule of law. They also erode public trust in democratic institutions.
It is imperative to clarify the truth of these allegations and, if confirmed, apply the corresponding sanctions.
Meanwhile, President Claudia Sheinbaum's administration has decided not to investigate the governors. They claim that they are victims of a smear campaign against them, despite the overwhelming evidence.

The persistence of these links between political and criminal actors exposes the inefficient current strategies to dismantle the corruption networks in governmental structures.
The allegations linking Morena with the Sinaloa Cartel and the misuse of public funds are alarming and demand a strong response.
