Hitmen attacked public transportation in Acapulco: Two drivers dead and three injured
In less than 24 hours, hitmen attacked public transportation units at different points in the city.
Terrorists executed two drivers and shot passengers at different points in Acapulco
Public transportation in Acapulco was once again the target of armed attacks. In two separate incidents, armed men shot at drivers of collective taxis and Urvan vans, leaving two dead and three passengers injured.
The first attack occurred in the María de la O neighborhood, near Constituyentes Avenue, where a group of hitmen executed a taxi driver in broad daylight. During the attack, a female passenger was injured and had to transport herself to a hospital on her own.

Hours earlier, in the town of El Cayaco, another armed group attacked a public transportation Urvan, killing a driver and injuring two passengers.
The criminals fled without issues, while security forces arrived too late, as always.

Organized crime imposed terror in Acapulco while the authorities remain overwhelmed
These attacks added to a wave of violence that has hit transporters and merchants in the port.
At the end of January, criminal groups murdered three delivery drivers from Coca-Cola, Pepsi, and Corona, causing the temporary suspension of their operations in the city.
Now, violence once again reached public transportation, highlighting the government's lack of control over security in Acapulco.
The attacks have caused terror among sector workers, who reported constant extortion and death threats from organized crime.
Security forces deployed operations, but violence continues to grow
After the attacks, the State Police, the National Guard, the Army, and the Navy conducted operations in the affected areas, although without reports of arrests.
The inhabitants of Acapulco continue to live in fear, without trusting that the authorities can stop the violence.
Reports of extortion, protection rackets, and threats are ignored by the government, while organized crime continues expanding its control over the port.
Acapulco remains mired in violence while the government pretends everything is fine
The attack on transporters confirms that organized crime maintains control of the city, imposing terror in every sector.
Security forces continue to arrive late and without achieving results, allowing hitmen to operate with total impunity.
While citizens continue to be victims of violence, the government prefers to give empty speeches instead of taking action.
The question is not whether violence will continue in Acapulco, but how many more victims will be added before someone does something to stop it.
