Less than a day before the anticipated match between the Argentina National Team and England, the city of Atlanta began to see a massive influx of albiceleste fans traveling to support Lionel Scaloni's team.

As happened in previous venues like Miami, Dallas, and Kansas City, Argentinian jerseys and the football atmosphere already dominate the streets, shopping centers, restaurants, and supermarkets in the city, which is expecting a significant influx of fans from both countries.

Due to the historic rivalry between Argentina and England, U.S. authorities classified the match as high risk and designed a significant security operation for the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

According to what was established after a coordination meeting held in Virginia, more than 1,600 personnel from various federal, state, and local forces will work before, during, and after the match to ensure the smooth running of the day.

It is estimated that around 30,000 Argentine supporters and 20,000 English fans will attend the stadium to witness the semifinal.

To minimize risks, both fan groups will enter through different access points. However, once inside the venue, they will share different common areas, so authorities will increase police presence in those sectors.

Additionally, FIFA and security agencies warned that the entry of items or demonstrations that could generate conflicts will not be allowed, especially those related to political or hate messages.

In this context, Argentina's Minister of Security, Alejandra Monteoliva, confirmed that spectators will not be allowed to enter the stadium with flags, jerseys, or any other items that contain references to the conflict over the Falkland Islands.
