The mayor of La Calera, Fernando Rambaldi, exploded out of anger against the company that provides water service in the town he governs.
This is the Association of Cooperatives Colón Punilla Agua y Saneamiento S.A., which provides the “service” to Saldán, Villa Allende, Mendiolaza and Unquillo, in addition to La Calera.
The company in question, without prior notice, left all those localities without water this Friday and for a couple more days, which had to leave the emergency to help the neighbors loading their tanks with loaded trucks in Córdoba.

The situation can become more serious considering that hospitals, schools and various institutions such as clubs can also suffer cuts
.The Calera Central club, for example, decided to suspend all training sessions scheduled for this Friday.
Rambaldi, against the water company set up by Peronism The
Association of Cooperatives Colón Punilla Water and Sanitation reported a restriction on the wholesale supply of drinking water in the southern region of the corridor, due to operational problems at the La
Calera Water Treatment Plant. As detailed in an official statement, the problem originates from the ingress of raw water, which directly impacts the production and distribution of the service to different locations.
Mayor Rambaldi sees a political move behind this, since it is a company that left Facundo Rufeil's previous management of Peronism.

“Before, La Calera didn't pay for water. Since we took office, we started paying a bill of 200 million pesos per month,” said Rambaldi, who categorically denied the versions that indicated
a lack of payment.
