After more than 20 hours of searching, Esmeralda, the two-year-old girl who disappeared in Cosquín, was found in good health at noon on Thursday. He was in a field near his home

For this, a strong operation was carried out by the prosecutor's office, with the support of personnel from DUAR, Fire and Police of Córdoba.

Attorney Silvana Pen held a press conference to give details of the situation.

The girl had disappeared in the José Obrero neighborhood of Cosquín. As soon as the mother made the complaint, the operation began, which ended at noon this Thursday

The girl was found while walking in a field by two motorized agents.

According to the prosecutor, there were 100 troops per batch who were engaged in the search. There were also drones with heat detectors. The work lasted all night until noon on March 19.

“They found her coming out of pastures on a plot near her house, 430 meters from the house, 300 meters from the river. I was walking,” said prosecutor Pen.

After this, the girl was taken to a hospital where it was confirmed that they are in good health.

It only has minor injuries such as scrapes on the legs, and another on the eyebrow. However, the investigation is under summary secrecy and evidence, including 11 cell phones, is being analyzed

“There are several lines of research. We are working with cameras, antennas, cameras in private homes. There are no detainees, no suspects. This is not the time now to move forward on that,” the prosecutor clarified

The circus doubts in the Esmeralda Vecinos de Cosquín case

said that in the days before the girl disappeared, a circus was set up in the city of Punilla

It stopped working after the weekend to move to that town.

Those who work in the circus were in the same neighborhood as Esmeralda's family.

And during the search for the girl, they disappeared.
