The Justicialist Party (PJ) in Buenos Aires published its membership list this year, and the data presented reflect a profound transformation in the internal composition of space, where young people practically do not exist and there is a predominance of those over 60 years of age.
With a total of 1,151,640 members, the figures not only show the continuous loss of members, but also clear signs of a generational crisis that Peronism is going through in its main electoral stronghold.
One of the most striking facts emerges from the weight of young people in the register.
According to information released and shared on X by the user “EseesGuido” (Guido Mastrangelo, licensed by UADE), only 22,168 members are between 16 and 29 years old, representing only 1.92% of the total.
Another highlight of the report is the consolidation of a female majority within the party. 55.6% of members are women, compared to 44.4% of
men. This trend is not only verified at the general level, but it is replicated in almost the entire territory of Buenos Aires: women are the majority in 117 of the 135 districts, and in no case does their participation fall below 44%.
