Ernestina Pais spoke about her crash and tried to justify why she refused to take a breathalyzer test

After being once again at the center of the controversy over a traffic accident in Vicente López, Ernestina Pais gave her version of the events and explained why she refused to take the breathalyzer test requested by the authorities.

The episode occurred last Tuesday, when the journalist staged a vehicle crash at the intersection of Avenida del Libertador and Las Heras. After the accident, he avoided making public statements, which fueled speculation about what

happened.

In the last few hours, however, details of his story were released through the LAM (América TV) program, where the host Ángel de Brito shared the version broadcast to him by Pais herself.

According to the driver, after the crash, the other driver involved noticed that the Kirchner actress was visibly upset

“The lady noticed that Ernestina was going through a panic attack and told her: 'I am a yoga teacher, let's breathe together, '” said the journalist.

According to this reconstruction, both women performed breathing exercises to try to calm the situation. “He held her hand and reassured her,” he explained.

Pais allegedly confessed that the episode affected her emotionally. “I became very nervous, even though the crash was stupid because it took me back to my whole past,” De Brito said of the driver's words

According to his environment, the accident would have reminded him of traumatic situations linked to previous road episodes and other difficult moments

in his life.

Another key supporter at the time would have been her ex-husband, Alejandro Carlos Guyot Maschwitz, father of her son Benicio.

“She told me that her ex-husband went to get her because he couldn't drive, clearly, and he held her back. They accompanied her to the house and then he had to go to work,” said the LAM driver

According to the story, Pais was very emotionally affected after the crash, which would have influenced her decision not to speak publicly at that time.

The main question that emerged after the episode was the reason why the journalist refused to perform the breathalyzer test requested by the Police, a common procedure in this type

of situation.

According to what De Brito transmitted, the driver explained that her refusal was linked to the state of extreme nervousness she was going through.

“Because of the panic attack. And he told me that a lot of stupid things were said,” said

the journalist.

In that context, Pais also denied having consumed alcohol before the accident. “I wasn't with Joaquín Levinton. I wasn't sucking,” he would

have clarified.
