Last weekend, Flor Vigna was eliminated from La Casa de los Famosos México, the reality show she entered in July. In an exclusive chat with Ciudad Magazine, the artist spoke about her exit and hinted at how she plans to approach the next stage of her career.
Far from planning an immediate return to Argentina, Vigna surprised everyone by revealing that she received several job offers in Mexico. For now, she has decided to postpone her return to the country to fully invest in this new professional phase.
“The opportunities that have come my way are incredible. I was offered job opportunities that I never thought I would have,” said the singer and actress, without providing specific details about the projects she has in mind.
“For now, I'm delaying my return and giving it my all for the dream,” she assured, making it clear that she prefers to take advantage of the doors that opened for her during her stay in the Aztec country.
The silence regarding the controversies
When asked about the scandals generated by her statements inside the house, Flor Vigna chose silence. She avoided referring to the comments about Cande Ruggeri and Nico Occhiato as well as her remarks related to autism.
During the two months she spent in the reality show, the artist became one of the participants with the greatest impact, both in Mexico and Argentina. One of the most resonant episodes occurred when she spoke about Ruggeri and Occhiato.
Vigna recounted that Ruggeri had made advances towards Occhiato during a trip to Disney they shared when he was still her boyfriend. Those statements had a strong impact on the local entertainment scene, and Cande Ruggeri responded through her social media.
On that occasion, Ruggeri denied Vigna's claims and stated that it was Occhiato who had shown interest in her, arguing that he was going through a couple's crisis with Flor.
The statements about autism
Another moment that generated strong criticism was her words about autism. “I have a little bit of autism and I feel it's a mental issue, that if you want to overcome it, you can overcome it. Sometimes it goes away a little bit. I know I can totally overcome it because I do,” she had said inside the house.
Those statements were harshly criticized by Yanina Latorre on El Observador. “You can't say you're autistic, that it's a mental issue and that if you want to, you can overcome it,” the host stated, adding: “When there are people who suffer and families that change because of it.”
Latorre interpreted that Vigna probably meant to refer to a more solitary or introverted personality, but emphasized that the term autism refers to a condition that deeply affects many people. “Say you're solitary, but don't say you're autistic,” she advised.
During her time on the show, Flor also started a romance with Mexican influencer Ese Pérez. According to her own account, that relationship impacted her performance in the competition and even destabilized her emotionally.
Now, already eliminated, Vigna chose to stay a little longer in Mexico to capitalize on the new professional opportunities that have arisen. With her focus on work and no desire to reopen old controversies, the artist aims to write a different chapter away from the reality show's spotlight.
Her decision to postpone her return to Argentina marks an unexpected turn in her career and confirms that her time in La Casa de los Famosos México opened doors that, at least for now, she prefers to explore thoroughly before going back home.
