The measure is part of the most ambitious construction plan in the institution's history, promoted by the national government to comprehensively modernize
its facilities. The total investment allocated to the purchase of the beds exceeds $1.4 billion and will allow 100% of the hospitalization equipment to be renewed.These are highly complex electrical units, with remote control, automated lifting systems and multiple adjustments that optimize both patient comfort and the working conditions of medical personnel
.The purchase process was carried out through a public tender, with the participation of ten companies and a total of 29 offers.
