Axel Kicillof's government minister, Carlos Bianco, confessed that Peronism alone is no longer enough to compete with real chances in the 2027 elections, and that an "anti-Milei" front needs to be created.
At a press conference, the Kirchner official said that it will be necessary to build a broader front if the objective is to regain power.
“There are many other political forces that will surely agree, well, welcome, let's sit down and talk to arm that anti-Milei front, or for hope, for the future, for the right to the future, then we'll see what we call it,” he said.
And he confessed: "But I think it's necessary to build a front to win an election next year, because with a hard core we're not going to win
it.”
Bianco's definition recognizes that Peronism, in its current configuration, is no longer able to overcome the ceiling of its own militant base, which has shrunk in terms of reach, with difficulties expanding into new sectors of the electorate.
In this framework, the proposal to advance an “anti-Milei” front appears as a need rather than as an option, with the objective of expanding the boundaries of the movement and avoiding being relegated to a minority position.
The call for other political forces is aimed directly at reconstructing the electoral volume, in a context where the ruling party of La Libertad Avanza led by Javier Milei dominates the agenda.

“Then we see”
This Monday's statements are in addition to those made the day before by Bianco himself, who had already raised questions because of the approach focused exclusively on the
recovery of power.
In that regard, the minister had been asked about the possibility of a pardon to former president Cristina Kirchner, and replied: “You have to put a president before thinking about a pardon. Let's worry that there is a Peronist president
.”
In addition, he insisted on this line, remarking: “Let's put the president first, he's the most reasonable thing and let's see the situation.” The statements made it clear that the priority of Kirchnerism does not lie in the elaboration of concrete proposals or an economic program, but rather in regaining the control of the national
executive.
Taken together, Bianco's sayings show that Peronism seems to recognize its current limitations and is betting on an expansion strategy to become competitive again.
