Madrid.Initially, the match was scheduled to be played at the Lusail stadium in Qatar on March 27. However, the geopolitical context in the Middle East forced us to rethink plans and look for an alternative venue. Faced with this scenario, according to various Spanish media, the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) proposed the Real Madrid venue as an alternative venue for
the match.
Although official confirmation is still missing, the scheduled date of the match would remain unchanged. For their part, the Argentine Football Association (AFA) rules out the option, preferring to evaluate other options to maintain neutrality. It should be clarified that the final agreement will also depend on the approval of Qatar, which had initially closed the agreement to organize the event.
