This Wednesday, the Chinese Foreign Ministry denied a report stating that Iran is using a Chinese-made spy satellite to attack U.S. military bases with missiles and drones. The information comes from the Financial Times, with Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps receiving control of the satellite known as TEE-01B in
late 2024.
The British newspaper report is very difficult for China to refute, as it is based on leaked Iranian military documents that clearly showed the regime in possession of that satellite. The leaked files include “coordinate lists, satellite images and orbital analysis”, which showed the Chinese aircraft spying on Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia, Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan, the Fifth Fleet Naval Base in Bahrain and Erbil airport
in Iraq.
The Iranian guard attacked all these places after the Chinese satellite monitored them, and it became known that five American refueling planes housed at the Saudi Arabian base were damaged in one of these attacks. The satellite also collected intelligence for Iran at two U.S. air bases in Kuwait, another in Djibouti and an airport in Oman. Surveillance data was also collected on civil infrastructure in the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain

Trump warns China The
Financial Times notes that the satellite was built and launched by a Chinese company called Earth Eye, which specializes in selling control of its satellites to foreign customers after China launches them into orbit. Iranian documents show that the Islamic regime's Aerospace Force paid around 36 million dollars to take control of the machine in September 2024
.
It is known that Iran has cooperated with Russia in satellite launches, but the discovery of a secret agreement to use Chinese satellites for attacks against American targets would be a problem for the communist regime that governs the Asian country, which constantly presents itself as a responsible and benevolent member of the international community.
In fact, Beijing is still trying to do damage control with the discovery that a company linked to the Chinese People's Liberation Army is helping the Houthis in Yemen carry out terrorist attacks against international shipping in the Red Sea.
Trump already told reporters last Saturday that if China tries to help Iran militarily - providing the regime with, for example, more sophisticated air defense systems - the Asian country “is going to have big problems”. The Republican tycoon added that he was prepared to impose a 50 percent punitive tariff on China if this military aid ends up
being implemented. The Iranian regime is using a Chinese satellite to attack US bases in the Middle East
