The United States, under the command of Donald Trump, confirmed the elimination of the Iranian regime's intelligence chief Esmaeil Khatib. The fact was confirmed by Israel's Defense Minister, Israel Katz

.

The attack occurred overnight in Tehran, as part of a large scale air offensive against the regime's strategic infrastructures.

Katz said that the operation marks a new step in military escalation and anticipated that there will be “important surprises” in the coming hours.

Green light to eliminate the Iranian leadership The

Defense Minister indicated that both he and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu authorized the armed forces to eliminate senior officials from the Iranian regime without the need

for additional approvals.

“The intensity of attacks in Iran is increasing,” Katz said after a meeting with senior military officials.

The decision reflects a strategic shift toward a more aggressive offensive against the Iranian power structure.

Massive attacks against military infrastructure in Tehran

According to the IDF, the Israel Air Force carried out a large scale attack on key

regime targets.

The targets hit included:

  • military headquarters

  • ,
  • ballistic missile installations

  • ,
  • security force logistics centers

  • ,
  • structures linked to the Revolutionary Guard. Air defense systems were also attacked to

consolidate Israeli air superiority over Iranian space

.

Blow to the regime's internal control structure

One of the objectives was the headquarters of the Revolutionary Guard security unit, responsible for suppressing internal protests

.

The IDF noted that these attacks seek to weaken the Iranian regime's pillars of internal control, in addition to its military capacity.

The removal of Khatib represents a direct blow to the country's intelligence services.

Israel intensifies pressure on Iran and Hezbollah

The Israeli Government maintained that the operation is part of a strategy to simultaneously increase pressure on Iran and the terrorist group

Hezbollah.

Katz remarked that the offensive will continue on different fronts, in the midst of a regional escalation that already involves multiple actors.

New attacks against Hezbollah in Lebanon In

parallel, the IDF launched a new wave of attacks against Hezbollah positions

in Lebanon.

The bombings came after dozens of rockets were launched into Israeli territory.

The objectives included:

  • missile launchers

  • ,
  • weapons depots

  • ,
  • operational headquarters

.

The Israeli army indicated that these actions made it possible to thwart

imminent attacks against Israel.

Impact on Beirut and suburbs controlled by Hezbollah

One of the attacks hit a building in the Bachoura neighborhood of

Beirut, causing it to collapse.

Previously, Israel had issued evacuation warnings to minimize harm to civilians.

There were also bombings in the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital, areas under the control of Hezbollah.

Regional escalation on multiple fronts

The simultaneous offensive in Iran and Lebanon confirms an expansion of the conflict in the Middle East

.

Israel seeks to weaken both the Iranian state structure and its armed allies in the region.

The Israeli authorities anticipated that operations will continue, in what is already shaping up to be a more intense phase of the conflict.
