Volkswagen has once again announced a significant drop in the prices of several of its best-selling models, in line with the decrease in prices in the sector, with discounts reaching up to 26% and reductions of nearly $13 million on some versions. The measure particularly impacts popular vehicles such as the T-Cross, the Nivus, the Virtus, and the Saveiro.
The decision of the German automaker comes in a context of inflationary slowdown and greater macroeconomic stability driven by the Government of Javier Milei, a scenario that has begun to change the commercial dynamics of various sectors of the economy, including the automotive sector.

One of the most striking cases is that of the Volkswagen T-Cross in its Sense 170TSI version, which went from costing more than $50 million to being sold for $37,915,300. The price cut exceeds $12 million and represents a drop of 26.3% compared to the list from early May.
The renewed Nivus also received a significant adjustment and has now become the cheapest model of the brand in Argentina. The entry-level version is now priced at $33,281,550, with a reduction of nearly 24%. Meanwhile, the Virtus received discounts across its entire range. According to the new list, the discounts range from 19% to over 26%, depending on the version. In some cases, the reduction exceeds $12 million.
