President Javier Milei participated this Thursday in the streaming program ArgenData, broadcast by Neura, where he left a strong series of political and economic definitions that once again set the course of his administration. There, he ratified the claim for the Malvinas, defended openness and took aim at prebendary businessmen and false Kirchner economists

.

In terms of foreign policy, Milei confirmed his intention to recover the Falkland Islands. He argued that the Government is doing “everything humanly possible” to return them to Argentine hands and stressed that sovereignty “is not negotiated”. In this regard, he stated that the chosen path is strategic and rational, in contrast to impulsive approaches of the past, and assured that the current administration is making progress “like never before”.

During the interview, the President also revealed comments from technology entrepreneur Peter Thiel, who expressed interest in Argentine potential, especially in the agro-industrial sector. Milei highlighted the ideological affinity between the two and argued that

the investor welcomes the country's economic direction: “Peter is an anarcho-capitalist who found another anarcho-capitalist who is bringing things to reality and is working.”

Javier once again charged what he defined as “prebendary businessmen”, who are opposed to openness and competition. As an example, he compared the case of Lumilagro, which managed to reconvert and grow in the new context, with that of Fate, which he identified as a firm that relied on exceptional conditions and could not

adapt to changing rules.

In addition, Milei issued strong statements against Infobae journalist Diego Iglesias, whom she described in harsh terms after an argument with one of the show's hosts. The President pointed out against his position on the interest rate and launched: “I saw an imbecile fight Malena, a brute and an economic illiterate.” Along these lines, he explained that “if the interest rate falls, I have more investment, I have more employment and better salaries”, reinforcing one of the central axes of his economic program

.

In the interview, Milei made it clear that she will maintain the country's economic course and will move forward with her reform agenda, despite criticism from the prebendary business community and the Kirchner opposition: “Everything indicates that the floor has already been touched and working capital is being reconstituted. We are optimistic about inflation.”
