The heroic gendarme Nahuel Gallo presented himself as a plaintiff in a case investigating crimes against humanity committed by the Venezuelan narco-terrorist dictator Nicolás Maduro, the regime's highest authority at the time.
The complaint, which is filed with the Argentine Federal Justice, focuses on events that constitute serious violations of human rights, after being kidnapped by the Venezuelan dictatorship.
According to the presentation, sponsored by lawyer Claudio Nuncija and to which La Derecha Diario had access, Gallo presented himself “in his own right” as a “direct victim of the facts under investigation”, asking to be considered as a complainant with all the corresponding legal powers.

The facts reported
In the document, the gendarme Gallo explained that on December 8, 2024, “I was illegitimately deprived of my freedom in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, remaining in that condition until March 2, 2026, the date on which I regained my freedom and returned to the
Argentine Republic.”The complainant further explained that during that period his situation was completely uncertain: “During that period my whereabouts were unknown for a long time, the competent judicial authority was not informed that it had ordered my arrest, the reasons for my arrest were not communicated, and I was kept incommunicado, without access to effective legal or consular assistance.”
Along the same lines, he maintained that during his detention he was subjected to "conditions of detention incompatible with international human rights standards, in a context that has been described as arbitrary detention without judicial guarantees”.
