The basketball stadium of the Instituto de Córdoba club was the scene of the third meeting of interior leaders, organized by the Federal Council of the AFA.
It was an unusual encounter, in the midst of the Argentine football strike and the investigations into the management of money in AFA, in which no one was ashamed to applaud the investigated Claudio “Chiqui” Tapia, president of the AFA, and Pablo Toviggino, treasurer
.One of the organizers was the Cordovan leader Emeterio Farías, a man of Peronism, with power in the media and (a lot) in the Cordovan Football League.

But the president of the Institute, Juan Cavagliatto, and the president of Belgrano, Luis Fabián Artime, also provided strong support, who made no secret of their public support for Tapia, with whom they shared a lunch prior to the meeting

brought together 3,000 leaders from about 5,000 clubs and 233 leagues and federations
from all over the country.Different issues related to the development of soccer in the interior were addressed and important changes were announced in the structure of the tournaments.
