Justice returned control to the creators. The

the studio's founders.

Among those affected were Ted Gill, Charlie Cleveland and Max McGuire, who reported that their departure responded to a strategy to delay the launch of the game and avoid paying a bonus of 250 million dollars.

The US justice ruled in favor of the developers, ordering:

  • The reinstatement of Ted Gill as CEO

  • The return of control over Steam The ban on

  • Krafton's interference at the launch The ruling allowed development to be unlocked and the release of

the game confirmed

.

A conflict that marks the industry

.

The judicial intervention not only allowed the launch of Subnautica 2, but it also sets a precedent for the importance of respecting creative agreements and processes in video game development.

High expectations after weeks of tension

The community followed the conflict with concern, fearing delays or changes in the vision of the project

.

With control back in the hands of its creators, Unknown Worlds is committed to regaining players' trust and consolidating one of the highest-rated sagas in the survival genre.
