The United States government announced a reward of up to 10 million dollars for those who provide information on senior officials of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), whom it accuses of planning and executing terrorist acts globally. The measure is part of a larger strategy to weaken the Iranian regime's operational structure and limit its capacity
for action. As reported by the State Department, the initiative targets five key figures within the CGRI, including Ahmad Vahidi, the agency's current commander, along with others responsible for sensitive areas such as intelligence, drones, cybersecurity and joint operations. Washington maintains that these leaders play central roles in coordinating activities that pose a direct threat to international security.

In the official statement, U.S. authorities noted that these individuals “command and direct various elements of the CGRI, which plans, organizes and executes terrorist acts around the world.” In addition, it was detailed that those who provide relevant information will be able to access not only the economic reward, but also to relocation programs, in an attempt to encourage collaboration even from high-risk environments
