After days of speculation and rumors surrounding the future of Los 8 Escalones, it was finally confirmed who will take over the popular entertainment show.
It is Carolina "Pampita" Ardohain, who will assume the hosting of the program that until now was led by Guido Kaczka.
The announcement was made this Wednesday, July 24, and according to reports, recordings will begin immediately at the Kuarzo studios.
The Constitución channel has chosen a figure with charisma, experience, and a strong connection with the audience, in a move that seeks to maintain the strong ratings the show has had since its premiere.
This new challenge represents a significant opportunity for Pampita, who returns to the role of host in a well-established format.
Although she is remembered for her work as a judge on Bailando por un sueño, her on-camera career is not limited to that role: in 2016 she led Pampita Online on Telefe, a program that later moved to Net TV with mixed results.
In fact, at the beginning of her career, she was part of the hosting team of the well-remembered show El Rayo, alongside María Vázquez.
With Los 8 Escalones, Pampita joins one of the most successful products on broadcast television, with a solid structure and a loyal audience.
The show has managed to remain competitive in the prime time slot, becoming one of the channel's major bets.

Meanwhile, Guido Kaczka will continue his path on El Trece's screen with Buenas Noches Familia, a different proposal where the main characters are dogs.
The program includes challenges with pets, such as a game that caused some controversy: the animals enter the studio and, if they relieve themselves in a specific area, their owners win a prize.
This way, El Trece will seek to compete strongly with América TV, which at these times airs SQP hosted by Yanina Latorre and LAM with Ángel De Brito at the helm.
Meanwhile, Telefe leads prime time with Pasapalabra hosted by Iván de Pineda and La Voz Argentina, which is hosted by Nico Occhiato.
