Following the historic endorsement from the President of the United States, Donald Trump, the candidate from Defenders of the Homeland, Abelardo de la Espriella, has issued a vigorous official statement reaffirming his unwavering commitment to freedom and transnational security.
The statement from De la Espriella, shared via the social network X, not only celebrates the support from the American leader but also establishes a shared roadmap to rescue Colombia from the shadow of the officialdom led by Iván Cepeda, whom the right labels as a communist puppet and representative of radical left.

Regarding Political Renewal, De la Espriella described the American leader as a source of “inspiration” for all those seeking to “change politics forever”, taking on with determination the responsibility that “God and the People” have bestowed upon them to combat the radical left that seeks to destroy national values, emphasizing that “freedom in the Americas needs strong, determined, independent, brave, patriotic leadership”.
