Elections: Adorni leads the polls in CABA for the city legislature
Followed by Santoro's Kirchnerism with 28.1% and Lospenatto for PRO with 21.3%, according to DC Consultores
With the support of the government of Javier Milei and an unwavering commitment to freedom, the current spokesperson positions himself as the central figure of La Libertad Avanza in CABA and comfortably leads the polls for the upcoming legislative elections on May 18. According to recent data from DC Consultores, Adorni leads the voting intention with a solid 30.9%, leaving behind Leandro Santoro'skirchnerism, which garners 28.1%, and Silvia Lospennato, an abortion advocate, who barely reaches 21.3%.
Adorni, a staunch defender of liberal ideology and a firm voice for President Milei, has made it clear what his priority will be if elected. "I will step aside and focus on the Buenos Aires Legislature," he declared emphatically to the press, reaffirming his commitment to the citizens of the City and his decision to carry out an agenda of institutional modernization from the legislature.
In his usual conference, Adorni emphasized: "Regardless of my candidacy, I will strictly refer to the management agenda. This is the national scope, and I will continue to represent the President. I will be the voice of the Government, it's the commitment I made to him."

The Buenos Aires City Government head, Jorge Macri, launched criticisms toward Adorni, accusing him of being unaware of the Buenos Aires idiosyncrasy. "He doesn't know the city or the Buenos Aires resident," he stated. However, the spokesperson's response was swift, and true to his style, he dominated social media with a strong post on X (formerly Twitter):
"Quite strange: I have indeed lived in the City of Buenos Aires for many years, unlike the former Buenos Aires mayor. End," he wrote, directly alluding to Macri's management in Vicente López between 2011 and 2023.
Adorni will not be alone on the libertarian list. He will be accompanied by figures such as Solana Pelayo (fintech specialist lawyer), Nicolás Pakgojz (economist), Andrea Freguia (administrative secretary of the LLA bloc in CABA), Juan Pablo Arenaza (leader of Bullrich's space), Lucía Montenegro, Leonardo Seifert, Rebeca Fleitas, Diego Vartabedian, Marina Kienast, Juan Ignacio Fernández, Patricia Holzman, and Marcelo Ernst, among others.

The Electoral Management Institute (IGE) confirmed that the Single Ballot system will be maintained, which will streamline the voting, counting, and result transmission process. On May 18, registered citizens in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires will be eligible to participate in the legislative elections. In these elections, 30 new legislators will be elected to assume office starting December 10, replacing those elected in 2021.
All citizens over 16 years old with a DNI with an address in the City, including foreigners with permanent residence, will be able to vote. The final register can be consulted online one month before the election.
