The presidential spokesperson, Adrián Ravier, confirmed on Monday that President Javier Milei will deliver a National Broadcast next Thursday at 8 PM to present the key points of the reform of the Central Bank's Organic Charter, in a key measure aimed at deepening the reduction of inflation and consolidating the Government's economic direction.

During his press conference, Ravier emphasized the importance of this initiative by stating: "This is a fundamental issue for this Government because the main mandate we have been given is related to reducing inflation. These changes in the Organic Charter tackle this scourge that has condemned Argentina and Argentines for too long".

In parallel, the spokesperson reviewed the main management indicators, highlighting concrete advances in various productive sectors. Regarding agriculture, he stated that the implemented policies have significantly improved the sector's conditions.

"This Government has lifted the foot off the neck of the agricultural sector", he asserted, while detailing that in the first half of 2026, there were 24 openings and 268 reopenings of international markets for agro-industrial products. With these numbers, the total rises to 580 markets opened since the beginning of the administration.

Ravier explained the relevance of these achievements with a direct comparison: "Opening a market is like opening a highway: it creates the path for private sector companies to reach new destinations with their products and expand their export opportunities".

In terms of foreign trade, he also referred to the relationship with the United States, clarifying that Argentina "continues to be the only country in South America in the lowest tariff bracket for trade with the United States", which also includes new positions with zero tariffs for national products.

The energy sector was another highlighted point, with emphasis on the growth of hydrocarbon production. According to the spokesperson, in June, record levels were reached driven by activity in Vaca Muerta, consolidating energy as one of the engines of economic growth.

Regarding tourism, Ravier noted a historic performance during the first half of the year, especially in the arrival of visitors from non-bordering countries. "Without Previaje, without short-term incentives, and without the advantage of being a hyper-cheap country due to its poverty levels, non-border international tourism was record-breaking", he pointed out.

He also attributed these results to macroeconomic stability, an open skies policy, and the expansion of air connectivity.

In the health area, the spokesperson presented the results of the PROMESA pre-judicial mediation system, highlighting its impact on conflict resolution. "More than 40% of disputes that would have led to costly and slow judicial injunctions were resolved through consensual means", he indicated.

He also referred to the flu vaccination campaign, which has recorded a higher number of doses administered compared to 2025, and stated that "those who claim that this Government does not comply with the National Vaccination Calendar are not telling the truth".

Finally, Ravier highlighted a significant fact in defense matters: for the first time in 16 years, the Argentine Armed Forces will be in charge of the special operations component of the multinational exercise PANAMAX. "This is further testimony to the revaluation of the Armed Forces in this administration", he affirmed, while noting that the Government is working to strengthen regional leadership and regain the country's prominence in this area.
