Adrián Suar broke his silence regarding the future of Los 8 escalones, a show hosted by Carolina "Pampita" Ardohain on El Trece's screen. In a conversation with LAM (América), the actor and producer confirmed what had already been rumored for weeks: both shows will go off the air.
When asked by the reporter from the show hosted by Ángel de Brito, Suar was direct: "They're taking Los 8 escalones off the air," he said, referring to the historic question-and-answer program. However, he made it clear that the decision is not final. "Well, now it's going off the air, but it will come back. At some point, it will come back," he explained, making it clear that this is more of a pause than a cancellation.
Regarding the show led by Pampita, "Chueco" confirmed that it will also take a break from airing. According to him, the changes are part of a natural restructuring of the television schedule: "Many shows have gone off the air and then returned. These are moments in television, and at some point Pampita will return to the screen, just as Los 8 escalones will return."
With this decision, El Trece is preparing to undertake a renewal of its programming in order to regain its prime time audience. Although the definitive replacements have not yet been announced, Polka's production company is working on new formats for the second half of the year.
