After five years on the air, Mañanísima came to an end on El Trece, leaving Carmen Barbieri without a screen. The host spoke with Intrusos and expressed her discontent with the way the channel handled it.
She also revealed that the decision prevented her from accepting other job offers.

In her interview with Intrusos, Barbieri acknowledged that the news took her by surprise and affected her emotionally. "I felt a stomachache. That channel gave me five years of a lot of work and happiness", she commented with sadness.
Although she recognized that changes are frequent in her profession, she admitted that El Trece's decision left her in a complicated position. "I'm out of work because I couldn't schedule anything", she explained.
Why did El Trece's decision bother her?
Barbieri claimed that she wasn't given advance notice and that it caused her problems. "I left everything because I was sure the show was going to continue", she stated.
