Amalia Granata spoke about her son Roque's situation, who has Attention Deficit Disorder. The politician expressed her discomfort with the attitude of some parents at the school, but Fernanda Iglesias defended them.

The response didn't sit well with the legislator, who made a direct accusation: "Fernanda, you have something personal against me". The journalist, not staying silent, retorted: "Amalia has a strong personality and says things I don't like, but I have the right to express my opinion."

The most tense moment of the exchange

The argument escalated when Granata told Iglesias: "You can see the hatred on your face". In response, the journalist claimed she was having a hard time and received an even stronger reply: "Now you're playing the victim".

The situation became more uncomfortable when Iglesias reminded her colleague that she was working and couldn't leave the show. Granata, unfiltered, compared the situation to her work in the legislature: "When I'm having a hard time, I get up and go get some air". The journalist closed with a sharp comment: "I'm a professional".

The repercussions on social media

After the argument, the moment went viral on social media. Many users took sides and shared their opinions on X (formerly Twitter). Some defended Iglesias for her stance, while others supported Granata and criticized the journalist's reaction.

For now, neither of them has made further statements about the exchange. However, the scandal continues to be a topic of discussion.
