Ángel de Brito announced the return of a former panelist to LAM
The journalist, who left the program in June 2023 amid major controversy, returns to the programming
After two years of tensions and an abrupt ending, Ángel de Brito surprised the LAM audience by announcing the return of a historic panelist: Andrea Taboada. The journalist, who left the show in June 2023 amid a major controversy, is returning to the role of "angelita", although temporarily, while she adjusts her travel schedule.
"Today I spoke with Andrea to have her come as a substitute. She wants to, but she's leaving on a trip to Berlin. She'll come when she can. She's authorized by Intrusos, so welcome back to LAM," De Brito said live on air, making it clear that the differences are now in the past.

The announcement did not go unnoticed. Taboada was one of the most iconic panelists of the show, accompanying the host throughout much of his journey. Her departure in 2023 was not on good terms: the journalist expressed her pain and strongly criticized the production's decision and even Ángel himself. "I'm very, very sad. It was not my decision at all. I won't be on LAM anymore. Obviously, I thank all my colleagues, Ángel de Brito, Mandarina. I'll always miss you," she said at the time, visibly affected.
However, as often happens in the entertainment world, time seems to have healed the wounds. The host closed the topic with a forceful phrase: "It was a secret that we were going to reveal on LAM, but since it leaked, I'm confirming it," he said about the panelist renewal that he carries out every year.

LAM, which in its 10 years on air has had more than 100 "angelitas," continues to generate headlines and keeps a dynamic that combines information, entertainment, and controversy. Taboada's return, even if only for a few episodes, was celebrated by many followers on social media, who highlighted her charisma, her direct style, and her history within the show.
For now, there is no confirmed date for her return, since Andrea has personal and professional commitments, including a trip to Berlin. Nevertheless, her participation has already been approved by Intrusos, the show where she currently works.
