Ángel Di María will continue at Rosario Central. The Rosario club confirmed the renewal of the contract of the world champion, who extended his link for one more season and will remain in Arroyito until June 2027.

The announcement was made on the same day that the squad resumed training with their sights set on the main challenges of the second half of 2026: the Clausura Tournament and the decisive phase of the Copa Libertadores.

Through its social media, Rosario Central celebrated the continuity of one of its key figures with a message directed at the fans: "There’s Ángel for a while! Our story together still has many pages to write," reflecting the importance of the renewal for the club's sports project.

After signing the new contract, Di María expressed his happiness for continuing to defend the colors of the team where he was formed as a footballer and highlighted the personal value that this moment in his career holds.

"I am proud of everything I have achieved, but this means a lot to me. Returning to my home after so many years, living again in Rosario with my family, and wearing the Central jersey once more is something very special," the footballer stated.

Since his return to the Arroyito team, the former player of the Argentine National Team has become a key piece within the squad. During that period, he played 37 official matches, scored 14 goals, and provided seven assists, numbers that reflect his influence both in playmaking and in finishing.
