The singer revealed live that she had a very hard time in the 2016 reality show due to comments from the program's environment and not from the host himself

Ángela Torres held nothing back. In the special on Luzu TV, in front of Nico Occhiato and with Marcelo Tinelli present, the singer took the opportunity to talk about an experience that still hurts her: her time on Bailando por un sueño in 2016.

It was Tinelli himself who opened the door. With a doubtful tone, he said he wanted to revisit something she had mentioned at another time and offered to settle any outstanding “bills.” Ángela didn’t hesitate for a second.

“Oh, well, Marce, you want to start with everything. Just so you know, I’m a little feisty, huh,” she replied right away. From then on, the atmosphere became tense, although always with that teasing tone that characterizes these encounters.

The singer explained that this time she wasn’t going to speak alone. She brought her boyfriend, Marcos Giles, to back her up. When Tinelli stood up and approached, Marcos threw in an irony about the host's age and hearing. Ángela immediately scolded him: “No, no, buddy, don’t shrink back.”

The confession no one expected

The most intense moment came when Ángela got straight to the point: “Well Marce, this is how it is. When I was on your show, I had a bad time.” Tinelli feigned surprise and asked if she was serious. She didn’t back down.

“Yes, buddy, I had a terrible time on your show. I’m telling you, I have no problem with that. But at that moment, on your show, when I had a bad time, it wasn’t because of what you said to me. It was because of what people around your show were saying to me,” she clarified firmly.

She made it clear that she wasn’t going to name names or give specific details. She preferred that Marcos speak for her if necessary. Occhiato, from the side, added humor: “Wow, look how they’ve pumped up Marquitos with this mess.” Marcos, always joking, shot at Tinelli: “You played dumb.”

The host tried to dig deeper into what exactly had happened on Bailando, but Ángela cut the topic short. She didn’t want to elaborate or point fingers at anyone in particular. The conversation ended there, with the discomfort established but without escalating into a bigger confrontation.

An experience marked by exposure

Beyond the live clash, the artist had already shared on other occasions that she experienced the reality show as a true torture. The constant exposure, the comments about her body, and the attacks regarding her age hit her hard.

She also mentioned the pressure to wear little clothing and the repeated criticisms from jury members and production about her character and physique. All of that, according to her, created a hostile environment that left a mark.
