Alejandra Maglietti couldn't contain her emotion when referring to the explosion that shook the Carlos Spegazzini Industrial Park, in Ezeiza, an incident that left multiple people injured and destroyed much of the facilities of the companies located in the area.
The LN+ panelist revealed on air that her partner's company was one of those affected and that, in addition, the impact reached her own home, which left her going through hours of deep anguish.
"I'm going through a difficult time. My partner, my husband, is one of those affected by what happened in Ezeiza," she said with a trembling voice.
Maglietti explained that she hadn't slept for hours: "I haven't slept all night, I'm very distressed by everything that's happening. I'm sorry, I'm still very affected by everything that happened."
According to her account, her partner's company wasn't the epicenter of the explosion, but it was devastated by the fire that quickly spread throughout the industrial park.
"It was the work of a lifetime that was lost. There are 13 or 14 companies affected. We're talking about 3,000 jobs. It's an explosion that practically wiped out an entire industrial park," she lamented.

Maglietti also highlighted the work of those who were on the front lines facing the incident: "I want to highlight the work of the firefighters who were there all night, and the municipality, which made itself available. I hope all the families can get back on their feet and that this is solved in the best possible way."
Regarding the origin of the blast, the attorney mentioned the first versions circulating among neighbors and workers in the area: "There is talk that it may have started in a company dedicated to agrochemical logistics, about 300 or 400 meters (984 or 1,312 feet) from Plásticos Lago. It didn't start there, but it was enormously affected."
The explosion not only hit the family company, but also reached the panelist's home. According to those close to her, the shock wave caused breakages and material damage in her house, something she described as "a total and unexpected shock."
Although she didn't go into details on air, she did speak about the emotional impact: "We never imagined living through something like this. The whole night was filled with anxiety, not knowing what was really happening, just with the phone, waiting for some news. It was catastrophic."
