Declassified documents reveal that the Republican was one of the first people to report the couple's crimes

A recently declassified court document published Monday by the Department of Justice reveals that President Donald Trump described the pedophile Jeffrey Epstein as "disgusting" and denounced his accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, as "evil".
According to the document that contains the statement, Trump personally called the then Palm Beach police chief, Michael Reiter, to tell him: "It is a good thing you're arresting Epstein, everybody knows what he has been doing".
The filing further alleges that the Republican magnate "was one of the first people to call" the police when word spread that Epstein was being investigated.
Reiter stated to the Miami Herald, which was the first newspaper to report on the sex trafficking court case that involved Epstein, that Trump called him in 2006, after the investigation by the authorities against the financier with Democratic ties.

Trump kicked Epstein out of Mar-a-Lago
Trump told Reiter that he had expelled Epstein from Mar-a-Lago, his club and base of operations located in Palm Beach, before the pedophile was even investigated by the police. "Trump told [Reiter] that people in New York knew that Epstein was disgusting", according to the summary of the FBI interview with the former police chief.
"Trump said that Maxwell was Epstein's agent, that "she is evil and people need to focus on her"", continues that file, which came to light hours after Maxwell's lawyer asked Trump to grant his client a presidential pardon.
Epstein's accomplice, who is serving a sentence of more than 20 years in prison for child prostitution and trafficking of minors after being convicted in 2021, repeatedly refused to testify before a House committee Monday morning.
Despite not having been accused of any crime by Epstein's victims, and having broken off any kind of contact with the financier decades ago, Democrats have spread lies and falsehoods about Trump's relationship with Epstein as a way to damage the image of the current president.
