The Government of Javier Milei formalized the 3.73% increase in retirements, pensions, and family allowances that will take effect starting May 2025. The measure impacts the new minimum and maximum benefit amounts and updates the main social benefits.
The changes were established by ANSES through resolutions published in the Official Gazette. Additionally, income caps and universal allowance values were adjusted.

How are the minimum and maximum retirements from May?
According to Resolution 211/2025 of ANSES, the new benefit values for the Argentine Integrated Pension System (SIPA) are:
- Guaranteed minimum benefit: $296,481.74.
- Maximum benefit: $1,995,041.47.
Additionally, the taxable bases for pension contributions were updated:
- Minimum base: $99,855.
- Maximum base: $3,245,240.49.
New values were also set for other benefits:
- Universal Basic Benefit (PBU): $135,626.86.
- Universal Pension for the Elderly (PUAM): $237,185.39.
