ANSES updated the SUAF limit: how much can be received to access the benefit

The ANSES updated the income limits of the Single Family Allowance System (SUAF). The new individual limit is set at $3,209,863 in gross remuneration.

The measure, formalized through Resolution 283/2026, includes a 1.66% update and establishes the conditions to access family allowances during October 2026. If one member of the family group exceeds the limit, the family is excluded from the benefit.

What is the new income limit of ANSES to receive the SUAF

The new individual limit to access the Family Allowance for Children is $3,209,863 gross per family group member.

The requirement is exclusive: if one of the parents or holders exceeds that amount, the family group loses the right to receive the allowance, regardless of the total household income.

Why ANSES updated the amounts and limits of the SUAF

The update responds to the monthly adjustment mechanism of the social security system and family allowances. For the current period, a 1.66% increase was applied, calculated based on the variation of the Consumer Price Index (CPI).

The percentage modifies both the income ranges that determine access to the SUAF and the amounts received by beneficiaries, according to their salary bracket.

Who can receive family allowances from the SUAF

The family allowance regime covers different groups included in Law 24.714.

• Dependent workers: employees in the national public sector and private activity.

• Self-employed workers: workers registered in the simplified regime.

• Beneficiaries of social protection: individuals covered by the system established by the regulations.

To receive the Family Allowance for Children, it is required to have declared children under 18 years old. In the case of children with disabilities, there is no age limit, and specific conditions apply.

How ANSES verifies income to process the SUAF

The validation of data is carried out through information cross-checks between the income declared by companies to the Revenue and Customs Control Agency (ARCA) and the records of the social security system.

If the family group's data is already registered, it is not necessary to carry out in-person procedures for verification.
