The antisemitic congresswoman Vanina Biasi spoke in Iraq and criticized Milei's government.
The left-wing extremist had to speak wearing a hijab so as not to anger Muslims
Vanina Biasi, leader of the Workers' Party and antisemitic deputy, is currently in Karbala, Iraq, participating in the "IV Global Conference for the Right of Return of the Palestinian People."
Wearing a hijab to avoid angering Muslims, the far-left figure focused her speech on what she calls "genocide" against the Palestinians and celebrated acts of sabotage against Israel.
During the opening of the event, which took place at a women's university, Biasi stated that, according to her, "the genocide against the Palestinian people is causing growing consternation around the world, and its denunciation has gained ground through massive popular mobilizations, humanitarian flotillas, statements at cultural and sporting events, and the brave interventions of the labor movement, such as the Greek dockworkers who blocked a shipment of steel for the military industry destined for Israel."

The legislator also took the opportunity to attack the government of Javier Milei, accusing it of fighting Islamic terrorism and of its alignment with Israel and the United States, mentioning statements about moving the embassy to Jerusalem and a joint security memorandum with Netanyahu. "I am politically and judicially persecuted by Javier Milei's government, one of butcher Netanyahu's allies," she claimed victimhood.
"Milei systematically votes with Israel and the United States in international organizations, promises to move the Argentine embassy to Jerusalem, and has advanced in signing a joint security memorandum with Netanyahu," the antisemite added.
However, her deep hatred toward the Jewish state also led her to criticize the Kirchnerist opposition: "The main Peronist leaders have expressed their support for Israel, as was the case with Sergio Massa and Cristina Kirchner herself, who promoted the arrival of Mekorot in Argentina through her minister De Pedro in 2022."

The case against Biasi
Biasi faces criminal prosecution in federal court for violating Law 23.592. According to the judiciary, her 2023 tweets, in which she compared Israel to Nazism and labeled the Jewish state as genocidal, constitute incitement to hatred and discriminatory propaganda against the Jewish community. In addition, she was given an embargo of 10 million pesos (22,046 pounds).
