ARCA enabled an option for workers to disaffiliate from unions
The measure seeks to protect workers from unions that take a percentage of their salary
On the eve of Labor Day, the Government of Javier Milei, through the Revenue and Customs Control Agency (ARCA), implemented a new digital tool that will allow the agency's employees to unsubscribe from their unions with a single click.
The measure, driven by President Javier Milei's administration, seeks to guarantee workers' freedom and put an end to forced salary withholding by unionists.

The button, incorporated into ARCA's internal platform, is designed so that any employee who doesn't wish to continue contributing to a union can unsubscribe in a simple, quick, and bureaucratic-free manner.
Currently, many workers suffer automatic deductions from their monthly earnings destined for union organizations, even when they have not explicitly expressed their willingness to join or financially contribute to these entities.

The initiative was announced just hours before May 1st, as a symbolic gesture of "vindication of the real rights of the worker." This way, Milei's Government is providing concrete tools to protect the worker's pocket, which for years has been used as a source of funding for union structures that neither represent nor defend them.
To carry out the unsubscription process, one must enter the main page, then go to the "Options Menu," and select the "Earnings" section. In this place, one must enter the "Union Unsubscription" category, where they can proceed with the unsubscription with a simple click.
This decision is part of a process of debureaucratization and progress toward greater transparency and freedom in the relationship between the State, unions, and workers. Additionally, they emphasize that the tool doesn't prohibit unionization but guarantees the freedom to choose.

Last month, Milei's Government published a decree that eliminates the obligation for companies to make compulsory economic contributions to employer chambers through collective labor agreements.
