Argentina's opponents for the October friendlies in the United States have been revealed.
The Albiceleste will play in Miami and Chicago as part of its preparation for the 2026 World Cup, and matches in Asia and Africa for November have been confirmed
The Argentina National Team already knows its opponents for the upcoming FIFA window. Lionel Scaloni's team will play two friendlies in the United States: on October 10 against Fernando "Bocha" Batista's Venezuela at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, and on the 13th against Puerto Rico at Soldier Field in Chicago.

These matches are part of the preparation for the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Meanwhile, the Albiceleste's schedule will continue in November with an unprecedented tour of Asia and Africa, between the 10th and 18th, with matches in Luanda (Angola) and Kerala (India). The opponents have not been determined yet, but the AFA is looking to finalize them in the coming days.
First, finish the Qualifiers
Meanwhile, the squad is focused on the imminent match against Ecuador, which will take place on Tuesday, September 9 at 8:00 PM at Estadio Banco Pichincha in Guayaquil. The last training session included speed and coordination drills, a formal soccer segment led by Scaloni, and a final small-sided game. Among the highlights, young players Claudio Echeverri and Valentín Carboni got minutes with the senior team.

In addition, the coach is considering changes required by the absences of Lionel Messi and Cristian Romero, and the additions of Alexis Mac Allister and Leonardo Balerdi, among other players.
Beyond the obvious changes, the coaching staff will take advantage of the team's current position in the Qualifiers (undisputed leader and already qualified several rounds ago) to give playing time to the rest of the squad and test alternatives.
