The State Workers' Association (ATE) announced a national strike and a march to Congress for next Tuesday, December 9, in rejection of the labor reform bill that the Government of Javier Milei still hasn't presented and only plans to send to Parliament on that same day.
This way, the violent union led by the coup plotter Rodolfo Aguiar once again chose to deepen the conflict before knowing the final text of the initiative.
The National Executive Council confirmed that the measure will involve employees of the national, provincial, and municipal public administration, on a day that promises complications for the provision of essential services.

Rodolfo Aguiar, ATE's general secretary, described the official proposal, which hasn't even been presented yet, as "a pro-market labor reform" whose objective would be "the disciplining of the workforce." According to the leader, "it's not true that they want to improve competitiveness, productivity, or grow the economy. That's not going to happen by taking away rights."
